Motorcyclist In ICU After Crash In Devonshire
[Updated] Traffic diversions are currently [approx 6.00pm] in effect on North Shore Road in Devonshire tonight [Feb 27] due to a collision.
A police spokesperson said, “Traffic diversions are currently in effect on North Shore Road, Devonshire at the junctions of Barkers Hill and Store Hill due to a collision.
“Initial information suggests that two cars and a motorcycle are involved and that the motorcyclist has sustained serious injuries.
“The scene will be processed by the relevant police personnel and a condition update will be provided in due course.”
Update 7.30pm: A police spokesperson said, “The rider involved in the collision is in stable condition in the ICU.”
Update 9.25pm: A police spokesperson said, “Please note that traffic diversions at Barkers Hill and Store Hill on North Shore Road are no longer in effect.
“The Bermuda Police Service would like to thank the motoring public for their patience while the collision scene was processed. Inquiries continue.”
