Butterfield Competes In Shamrock Invitational
Bermuda’s Taahira Butterfield represented the University of Albany at the Alan Connie Shamrock Invitational.
Butterfield qualified for the 100m dash final, when she clocked 11.99 during the preliminaries finishing with the 6th fastest time. In the final, Butterfield recorded a time of 11.92 to earn her a second place finish. finishing 2nd overall.
Butterfield was also a member of the University of Albany’s Women’s 4x100m relay team that won the event with a time of 46.48, and member of the school’s 4x400m Relay team, that finished 17th with a time of 4:21.43.
