Temporary Closure: East Broadway Gas Station
RUBiS Energy Bermuda announced that their East Broadway Station will be temporarily closing for site upgrades commencing Monday April 2.
Mr. Graham Redford, Managing Director of RUBiS, said: “At RUBiS, we are always looking for ways to improve our customers’ experience when they visit our forecourts or convenience stores As such, on Monday April 2nd, we will be closing our East Broadway Station to complete a number of site upgrades and customer-focused improvements. The upgrades at East Broadway include:
- Renovation of the convenience store with new flooring, ceiling, display fixtures, food and beverage equipment, plus LED interior lighting;
- Replacement of fuel dispensers with the new chip-enabled Helix models [similar to the new ones recently installed at the Terceira’s North Shore Station and the Raynor’s Service Station in Southampton]; &
- Upgrade of the automatic tank inventory and environmental monitoring console to the Veeder Root TLS-450 Plus series.
The works are projected to take approximately 3 weeks to complete and we hope to open on, or around, Monday April 23rd. Of course, we will keep the motoring public informed of the progress via news releases, advertisements and our popular Facebook page.”
Mr. Redford concluded by saying: “We would like to apologise to our customers for any inconvenience and we look forward to welcoming them back to East Broadway where they will continue to receive the award-winning customer service we are known for.”
