Book Reading With Darnell Moore On May 23
OUTBermuda, in partnership with the Bermuda National Library, will be hosting a book reading with Darnell Moore on Wednesday, May 23 from 5.30pm to 7.30pm.
A spokesperson said, “Darnell is no stranger to Bermuda, having been invited to speak on island in June 2014. We are excited to welcome him back to share with us about his soon to be released book ‘No Ashes in the Fire’.”
“Despite growing up in a different country, his experience as a black male, being raised by a single mother in a religious household is likely to resonate with many locally.
“He engages with issues of race, pop culture and gender equality in a way that is engaging, and which brings people together. The event is free, and all are welcome.”
