33-Year-Old Arrested For ‘Unlawful Wounding’
A 33-year-old man was arrested after an incident in Devonshire early this morning, the police have confirmed.
A police spokesperson said, “The Bermuda Police Service responded to a report of an incident that took place on 3rd Avenue in Devonshire at 5:38am today [Friday].
“It appears that a 33-year-old male lawfully entered a residence on Third Avenue and an argument began with an occupant of the dwelling.
“This was followed by the 33-year-old man brandishing a bladed article and stabbing a 38-year-old man, who also brandished a bladed article and stabbed the 33-year-old male.
“Both individuals were taken via ambulance to KEMH and the 38-year-old male is being treated for non-life threatening injuries.
“The 33-year-old male was treated, released and subsequently arrested by police for unlawful wounding.
“The matter is being investigated by officers from CID. “
