BTA Announce Preliminary Carifta Team
The Bermuda Triathlon Association announced the preliminary team of young athletes to compete in the Carifta Triathlon and Aquathlon events to be held in Trinidad and Tobago [specifically Tobago] in September, 2018.
Most of the team selected competed in Bermuda back on June 10th at the Clearwater Beach during the Bermuda XL Catlin Bermuda National Olympic Distance Championship.
Nicholas Pilgrim and Caleb Ingham will lead the team as they both compete in the Aquathlon & Triathlon in the Boy’s 13-15 Age Group, while Zoe Hasselkuss and Amber Simons will compete in the Aquathlon & Triathlon in the Girls 13-15 Age Group.
Ashley Irby will be the first Bermuda Athlete to compete in three different Carifta Events having already competed in the Carifta Swimming Championships and the Carifta Games.
