St David’s Win Inline Ball Hockey Championship
The St. David’s Islanders were crowned the 2018 Bermuda Inline Ball Hockey Champions following their 4 – 3 win over the Southampton Sailors at the PCC Hockey Rink.
The Southampton Sailors took a 1 – 0 lead in the first period when Andrew Curnow scored.
The Second Period saw the St. David’s Islanders outscore the Southampton Sailors 2 – 1 to level the match at 2 – 2. Jeffrey Ingelman and Jeremy Estey would score a goal each for the St. David’s Islanders, while Chris Grantier scored the lone goal in the period for the Southampton Sailors.
In the Third Period Estey would score twice in a matter of minutes to increase the St. David’s Islanders lead to 4 – 2, Townie Jackson would pull a goal back for the Southampton Sailors but they could not find the equalizer.
