Tree Leaf Possibly Mistaken For Paddle Board
Following a report of a paddle board adrift off North Shore, the Marine Police investigated, and while a paddle boarder was not found in the in area, a “palm tree leaf was sighted and may have been mistaken for a paddle board.”
A Bermuda Maritime Operations Centre spokesperson said, “Bermuda Radio receives a report from a member of the public advising of a paddle board adrift off North shore, near Berkeley Hill.
“Marine Police vessel ‘Rescue 2′ was tasked to investigate, with no reporting sighting of a paddle board in area. However, a palm tree leaf was sighted and may have been mistaken for a paddle board.”
