Video: BPS Commissioner On Recent Robberies
Police Commissioner Stephen Corbishley held a press conference this afternoon [Aug 21] to address the recent spate of chain snatches and robberies.
So far this month, there have been at least five reported chain snatching incidents, an attempted handbag snatching, an attempted robbery of a female visitor, and a robbery of a man outside of his job. In one case the suspect brandished a knife, and in another case the suspect hit the victim with a piece of wood.
