Locals Sailors Compete In Brisbane, Australia
The 2018 Etchells World Championship began in Brisbane, Australia, with only one race sailed on the day and the Bermuda team of Tim Patton, Campbell Patton and Rockal Evans – sailing Incentive – finishing 83rd in the day’s race.
Once the sailors were out past Green Island, there was less of the 8-10 knots from the Southeast that had blessed the grounds of the Royal Queensland Yacht Squadron in Manly, and much more of the three knots or less conditions.
