Premier Burt’s Trip To Miami Cost $1,894.95
A trip earlier this month by Premier David Burt to Miami for the Bermuda Executive Forum cost $1,894.95, according to a recent listing on the Government’s travel webpage.
The trip duration was listed as from October 17 to 18, and the web page listing said, “The Premier traveled to Miami to open the first Inaugural Bermuda Executive Forum hosted in Miami by the Bermuda Business Development Agency.
“Premier delivered opening remarks at the event, met with Miami Mayor Francis Suarez. Premier also had meetings with Mr. Eric Knowles, President & CEO and members of the Miami-Dade Chamber of Commerce and Mr. Mark Wilson, CEO of the Florida Chamber of Commerce as well as the Miami Stock Exchange.
“In addition Premier Burt met with a number of companies at the forum, not only in FinTech but also in other areas of financial services encouraging them to set up a physical operation in Bermuda.”

This was for a good cause and the price is justified. The Premier should always travel first class, just get over it. He will be the Premier for years to come.
