QPR: ‘Nahki Wells Gets Bermuda Call-Up’

October 29, 2018

Bermudian striker Nahki Wells has been called up for the Bermuda vs El Salvador game on November 16th, according to a report from Queens Park Rangers official website.

The story said, “Striker Nahki Wells has been called up by Bermuda next month. Wells, on loan at QPR from Burnley, has been selected for their Concacaf Nations League 2018/19 fixture against El Salvador. Bermuda host El Salvador on Friday, 16th November 2018.”

The upcoming match will mark the third match for Bermuda in the inaugural Concacaf Nations League Qualifying Round, following after their 12 – 0 hammering of Sint Maarten earlier this month, and their 3 – 1 loss to Aruba in September.

Wells did not play in the first two matches, and the Bermuda Football Association has not yet named the team for the match vs El Salvador nor confirmed the QPR website post, however obviously the BFA seeks to include the island’s professional footballers in international matches whenever they are available.
