Football: Premier, First Division Weekend Results
Footballers in the Premier Division and First Division took to the field this weekend, with the Boulevard Blazers, Robin Hood, PHC Zebras, BAA, X-Road’s, Wolves, Southampton Rangers, Somerset Eagles, and Hamilton Parish earning wins, while one other match ended in a draw.
Premier: Boulevard Blazers 3 Devonshire Cougars 1
At Lord’s in St. David’s, the Boulevard Blazers picked up their second win of the season defeating the Devonshire Cougars 3 – 1.
A Clay Darrell strike in the 23rd minute from in his half caught Devonshire Cougars goalkeeper Kioshi Trott off his line to put the Boulevard Blazers ahead, the lead was doubled three minutes later when a quickly taken free kick caught the Devonshire Cougars defense napping allowing Aldonte Smith to double the Boulevard Blazers lead scoring from an angle.
Allan Douglas would pull a goal back for the Devonshire Cougars when he scored in the 47th minute, but a goal in the 89th minute from Ernest Trott earned and secured the three points for the Boulevard Blazers.
Premier: Robin Hood 3 North Village Rams 2
Robin Hood for a second time in a matter of two days defeated the North Village Rams by a single goal at the BAA Field.
Lejuan Simmons gave Robin Hood the lead in the 9th minute, only for Johnathan Briers equalized for the North Village Rams in the 19th minute, Casey Castle would put Robin Hood back in front in the 39th minute as they took that scoreline to the break.
Simmons added to the total in the 65th minute making it 3 – 1, Che’Kai Caisey pulled a goal back for the North Village rams in the 90th minute, but time ran out on them looking for the equalizer.
Premier: PHC Zebras 3 Somerset Trojans 1
At the PHC Stadium, the PHC Zebras defeated the Somerset Trojans 3 – 1. Rakeem DeShields, Qshae Hypolite and Marco Warren all scored a goal each for the PHC Zebras, while Coolidge Durham scored the lone goal for the Somerset Trojans.
Premier: Paget Lions 2 BAA 5
BAA traveled to the Southampton Oval and defeated the Paget Lions 5 – 2. Kenyade McQueen would score twice, with Drewonde Bascome, Tyrell Burgess and Kieshen Bean all added a goal each, while Akale Bean and Chare Smith scored a goal each for the Paget Lions.
Premier: X-Road’s 6 Dandy Town Hornets 0
At the Garrison Field, X-Road’s defeated the Dandy Town Hornets 6 – 0. League leading goalscorer Donovan Thompson led the way with 4 goals for X-Road’s with Paul Simons adding the other two.
First: Ireland Rangers 4 Wolves 6
The Wolves defeated the Ireland Rangers by a score of 6 – 4
First: Southampton Rangers 4 Flanagan Onions 0
At the Southampton Oval the league leaders Southampton Rangers came away with a 4 – 0 win over the Flanagan’s Onions. Jarazhino Basset would strike a hat-trick with Nicholas Mello adding the other.
First: Young Men Social Club 3 Vasco 3
At the Police Field, Young Men Social Club and Vasco played to a 3 – 3 draw. Young Men Social Club would get two goals from Makai Young and a single strike from Kimshun Smith, while Ricardo Ponte scored twice for Vasco and Ryan Lopes added the other which came in injury time.
First: Somerset Eagles 6 Devonshire Colts 1
After a scoreless first half at the White Hill Field, the Somerset Eagles would get second half hat-tricks from Leo Burgess and Tahj Wade as they defeated the visiting Devonshire Colts 6 – 1, Teniko Eve scored the lone goal for the visitors.

At the Wellington Oval, Hamilton Parish got a goal from Ryan Richardson and Kneiko Richardson as they defeated St. David’s 2 – 0.
