Sincere Hall On Guadeloupe Match
Sincere Hall is excited to return to international duty as Bermuda prepare to face Guadeloupe in Saint Lucia in their opening Concacaf Nations League match today [September 25].
Hall made his Bermuda debut in a 2-0 home defeat by Guyana in the Concacaf Nations League in 2023 but has not featured for the national team in recent years.
The 22-year-old will hope to win his third cap as Bermuda begin their League B group B campaign.
“I took a break from the national team, but I’m happy to be back now,” Hall told Bernews.
“It always feels like a great accomplishment to play for Bermuda.
“I’m hoping to become a regular in the coming years.”
The four League B group winners will gain promotion and advance to the Gold Cup, while the two best runners-up will enter the Gold Cup preliminary round.
Hall said Bermuda are targeting two wins in Saint Lucia, with the team also facing the host nation on Monday.
“There’s been positive vibes all around,” he said. “Everyone is excited to be part of this group.
“Our goal is to move forward and have good results during this campaign.
“Hopefully we can stay focused, stick together, and get some good results. We aim to do what we need to do.”
Hall also highlighted the influence of Luton Town striker Nahki Wells on Bermuda’s younger players.
“All the younger guys have looked up to Nahki,” Hall said. “It’s a good feeling to have him around the group.
“He’s always available for the younger players to turn to for advice.”
Hall helped North Village beat Dandy Town 3-1 in the Charity Cup final at Bernard Park this month, opening the scoring with a smart finish.
“I didn’t play any football last season, so I’m just happy to be back playing again,” he added.
“I’m just taking it season by season at the moment.”
Hall, who previously played for Hull City Under-21s, moved to England aged 13 and featured for West Ham United’s academy before joining the Kinetic Academy, a foundation based in South London.
