Photos: Nikki Bascome Defeats David Martinez
Professional boxer Nikki Bascome brought the crowd to their feet last night [Nov 24], as the Bermudian boxer defeated David Martinez from Mexico to claim the International Boxing Association [IBA] Welterweight Championship Title.
The match was the title fight in last night’s ‘Redemption Fight Night’ at the Fairmont Southampton, which saw a number of bouts take place prior to the main event, which saw Nikki Bascome go head to head with the 25-year-old Mexican boxer, successfully defeating him via unanimous decision to win the belt.
