Bake Sale Supports Children’s Feeding Program
The Hamilton Rotary Interact Club held a bake sale at the Christmas Boat Parade on Saturday [Dec 8] in support of a children’s feeding program.
A spokesperson said, “Part proceeds will aid the children’s feeding program for needy youth in public schools. The feeding program is sponsored by local Adventist charity Feed the Children Ministry.”
“The Rotary youth sold hot chocolate and beverages with homemade baked goods to the visitors. Left over baked goods and cups and napkins were taken to two churches that hold feeding programs for needy and homeless men and women as well as the Salvation Army soup truck.”
