Premier David Burt welcomed Cormac Kinney of BitCarbon to the Cabinet Office, saying that Mr Kinney “shared BitCarbon’s plans for their Bermuda based fintech business which includes 16 new jobs.”

According to Crunchbase, Mr Kinney is an “investor, serial entrepreneur with 5 exits to date. Founder and CEO of Bitcarbon. Founder and CEO of Flont, the fine jewelry leader in the sharing economy.
“Previously Founder and CEO of Network, a business social network incubated by The Wall Street Journal with direct reporting to Rupert Murdoch. Software designer with inventions cited in 1,500 patents. Raised over $500 million in capital. Graduate of Carnegie Mellon University.”
