BHA Extend Condolences To Hassell Family
The Board of Directors & Members of the Bermuda Hotel Association were shocked and saddened to learn of the untimely passing of 24-year-old Mr. Adrian Hassell.
Stephen Todd, Chief Executive Officer of the BHA stated, “On behalf of the Bermuda Hotel Association Board of Directors & Members, we extend our sincere condolences to the family and friends of Adrian Hassell.
“Adrian was a 2015 recipient of a Bermuda Hotel Association annual industry scholarship after he applied for, and was awarded funding to pursue his studies in Hotel Management.
“The members of the BHA scholarship selection committee fondly recall the enthusiasm and interest that Adrian displayed at his interview, and we were all of the collective view that he had a very promising career ahead of him in the industry.
“It is evident, based on the outpouring of tributes paid to Adrian, that he made an indelible and positive impact on the hotel industry, and everyone that he worked and was in contact with, throughout the time on his internship with the Bermuda Tourism Authority, and most recently the Hamilton Princess & Beach Club”.
“The thoughts and prayers of the BHA members are with his family and friends at this difficult time.”
