The Worst thing that W&E ever done in that area, was take away all the trees on that sharp, bend that worked as a buffer, to prevent this sort of thing from happening, that stretch of corner has been a frequent accident spot for years, and several vehicles have gone into the railings and the trees,in years past, and this don’t excuse the behavior of any drivers, but it could prevent a life if the trees were still there.
I can not speak to this situation, but knew this was bound to happen, to frequent of a spot, and now the proof is in your face.
Casuarina trees needed to be gotten rid of island wide. Their roots are extremely destructive and are causing our island to break off in chunks. Glad they got ride of them.
funny looking Volkswagen Schwimmwagen
Lucky.
I am happy that you lived and that you are okay and unharmed.
That area, since the trees have been cleared, is somewhat dangerous. It is open and unprotected!!
Anyone travelling n that area has to WATCH IT!!
Just like me, I guess that many of you are wondering what caused the car to leave the road ? the answer for now is we just don’t know ! we may never find out .
Many people get into dificulty with their vehicles for no apparant reason, that is not a satisfactory solution , because every thing has reason justifyable or other wise.
Where does it all start ? for a car it has to be the tires which are the most crital component of any and all vehicles.
To take this several steps further tire condition comes into question . How many cars are being driven with worn out unsafe tires ?
How may cars are being driver with over or under inflated tires ? Both are dangerouse ! Over inflated tires in the summer may explode under inflated tire have drastic effect on vehicle steering control.
*** CORRECT TIRE PRESSURE CAN NOT BE DETERMINED BY JUST LOOKING AT THE TIRE ***
Tire care and inflation is not some mystic art or rocket science, the tire pressure information in P.S.I or Pounds per Squqre Inch is posted sticker by the manufacturer on the drivers side door jam.
Not all tires are the same.
Not all vehicles are the same.
Not all tire pressures are the same
You may ask how often should my tires be checked some owners manuals say every 14 days, I check my tires every week for positive traction and positive braking vehicle comfort plays a big part in the equasion.
Tires today don’t come cheep so take care of your tires and they will take care of you.
Please can you all slow down and enjoy the ride .
Get ready to see a lot more cars going over the cliff and into the water. Compliments of W&E. Sometimes the powers that be should just think intelligently before making decisions.
