Vehicle Crashed Overboard In Spanish Point
[Updated with video] Emergency services responded to the Spanish Point Boat Club area this afternoon [June 30] after a vehicle crashed overboard.
A spokesperson said, “At 2:39pm on Thursday June 30, 2022 BFRS Dispatch received a report of a car overboard with one person trapped at Spanish Point Boat Club.
“BFRS responded with one Appliance from Hamilton Station and a total of four firefighters. On arrival fire crews saw a vehicle over the edge of the dock at the boat club. The occupant, an older male, had been removed from the vehicle prior to BFRS arrival. The patient was transported to KEMH via ambulance with no known injuries. The cause of the incident is under investigation by the police.
