Bermuda Team Named For Match vs Cuba

The Bermuda Football Association announced that the Senior Men’s National Team that will depart Bermuda on February 23rd to play an international match versus the Cuba Men’s National Team as they continue their preparation for the 4th and final Concacaf Nations League match versus the Dominican Republic.

The match is scheduled for Wednesday, February 27th at the Pedro Marrero Stadium in Havana with the kick off time at 3:00 p.m.

The BFA noted, “The match is not being played on a FIFA International Match Date and as such professional clubs are not obligated to release players. This presents a good opportunity for the players selected to impress the coaching staff and stake a claim to be included in the Nations League campaign going forward.

“Cuba is one of the top nations in the Caribbean region and the objective of the coaching staff to find tough opposition will certainly be achieved playing against Cuba’s Senior Men’s National Team.”
