Video: Chef Samuelsson’s 2nd Chef Competition
Celebrity chef Marcus Samuelsson is currently visiting the island and hosted his second annual Chef’s Competition for local culinary students at the Bermuda College today [March 30], where the winner will receive a job offer to work at Marcus’.

The competition was judged by Hamilton Princess & Beach Club General Manager, Tim Morrison, former competitor and winner of last year’s competition, Chef Anthony Sousa, Executive Chef at Marcus’, Danai Hongwanishkul, Culinary Instructor Chef Shawn Ming and Chef Marcus Samuelsson. Senior Culinary Lecturer, Chef Teneika Eve provided commentary throughout the event.
The three culinary students from Bermuda College selected by their teachers to compete in the exciting event included today’s winner Renee Daniels, Tamiyah Durrant and Tremayne Bailey.
