HSBC Plan Changes To Online Banking Platform
HSBC Bank Bermuda plan to make changes to their online banking for personal banking customers, saying that they will first implement changes to the internet banking platform, which will have a “fresh new look and feel.”
In an email sent to customers, the bank said, “Over the coming weeks we are making some exciting changes to HSBC Bermuda’s Online Platform for our personal banking customers. We will first launch changes to the internet banking platform, which will have a fresh new look and feel.
“In the upcoming first phase, we will launch a new logon experience and account summary page.
“Your log on screen will change. The simplified logon experience removes the need to use the “memorable answer“ to access basic functions in internet banking.
“We’re also introducing a modern account summary page, with mobile-friendly screens, allowing you to use Online Banking wherever you are.
“Note: The existing bill payment and fund transfer functions will not change until later. Please be aware that when you click on these functions, you will be returned to the original online platform to complete your transactions.”
“All existing personal banking customers who are registered for Online Banking will gradually be migrated to the new login journey and account summary page. Just as you do today, you will need to have your username and password [or token] to log on.
