Gymnasts Win Medals At CGC Championships
Eighteen young gymnasts from Bermuda competed in their first Caribbean Gymnastics Championships [CGC] this past weekend in Trinidad, making an excellent showing to win multiple medals.
“The competition, which has been held annually since 2015, welcomes more than 100 competitors from a number of Caribbean and associated countries,” a spokesperson explained.
“CGC 2019 was hosted by Trinidad with a variety of events being held 14th – 16th June. The Men’s Artistic Gymnastics [MAG] team placed 1st overall for the event and the Women’s Artistic Gymnastics team [WAG] placed 2nd overall. Well done Bermuda! Athletes from Bermuda proudly took the podium as follows below.”
