2019 Gold Cup Hailed As “Biggest Ever”
With more than 590,000 fans attending, 8.5 million television viewers, and 417 million people reached via social media, the 2019 Gold Cup – which Bermuda competed in — is being hailed as the biggest-ever edition of the tournament.
The organisation said, “The 2019 Gold Cup, the biggest-ever edition of the tournament, was a success across many fronts. It is evident that the love for our game is only growing with every passing edition of the tournament.
“Whether it was record attendance numbers, television viewership or fan engagement across our various channels, the 15th edition of the Gold Cup has been one of the most memorable and exciting in our history.”
