PLP Celebrates 2 Years In Office By Giving Back
In celebration of the second anniversary of their election in 2017, the Progressive Labour Party is assisting with the St. Paul’s feeding programme, which provides weekly dinners to those in need.
PLP Chairperson Damon Wade said, “As we celebrate the second anniversary of our historic 2017 General Election, the Progressive Labour Party has joined with other community leaders to give back to our community.
“Recognizing that there are many families facing hardship, we took the opportunity to assist with the St. Paul’s feeding programme, which provides those in need with hearty dinners on Wednesday evenings.
“It is our fervent desire that the numbers utilizing this programme will diminish as we continue the difficult work of getting Bermudians back to work and into gainful employment.
“We are working diligently to ensure more opportunities are available for Bermudians, and while we know that for those in need, an extra day of unemployment is one too many, we are not deterred nor dissuaded from the task at hand.
“We thank the voters of Bermuda for this awesome responsibility of governance. Two years into this term, we are making steady progress. We are ever grateful for your words of encouragement, and support!”

Diverse group right there!
well done – now can it give us back the debt it got us into, can it give us back the extra taxes it has imposed? Can it take back the political interference in bodies like the gaming commission etc etc …
Nice try but the PLP have been the Governing party for 16 years, not 2. They may want to forget the first 14, but Bermuda is in critical survival mode from that legacy.
Destructive dinosaurs in that group.
