Summer Sunday: City Fair Edition On August 18
The City of Hamilton’s Summer Sunday: City Fair Edition will take place in Victoria Park on Sunday, August 18th.
A spokesperson said, “The City of Hamilton announces that Summer Sunday: City Fair Edition will take place in Victoria Park on Sunday, August 18th. From 2pm – 7pm, the public can enjoy live entertainment, carnival games, dance troupes, the Gombeys, vendors, fun castles, prizes and plenty of food and drink. Entry to the event is free.
“Summer Sundays in the Park was launched in 2009 to provide a family fun day in the City that celebrates local music and talent while also supporting local vendors. Whilst it may take place in the summer months, when most people choose to spend their time at the beach, this event draws people into the City to enjoy a summer day with all, contributing to Hamilton’s mandate of being a vibrant City.
Event coordinator, Tamara Bradshaw said of the event, “The goal this year is to expand the “Summer Sunday” concept by adding more kid friendly activities, dynamic fun castles, prize competitions and interactive elements for the entire family.
“Like its inception, this year’s “Summer Sunday: City Fair Edition” is sure to continue the fashion of being a beloved summer event for the Bermuda public.”
“The afternoon will be hosted and emceed by Ed Christopher and Power Girl. In the event of inclement weather, the rain date will be August 25th.
