Nahki Wells Scores In Queens Park Rangers Win

August 24, 2019

[Updated with video] Bermuda’s Nahki Wells scored in the 48th minute as Queens Park Rangers recorded a 3 – 1 victory against Wigan Athletic.

The club’s match report said, “Wigan took the lead after just two minutes through Cedric Kipre though Rangers equalised early in the second period through Nahki Wells. Ebere Eze’s free-kick just after the hour mark put the R’s ahead before Jordan Hugill’s 81st minute effort sealed what was a much deserved three points for the Superhoops.

“Rangers boss Mark Warburton made six changes to the starting XI following Wednesday’s 3-1 defeat to Swansea. Nahki Wells and Ilias Chair both came into the line-up to spearhead the attack as they did in the Carabao Cup victory over Bristol City, while Dominic Ball and Josh Scowen were named as the centre midfield pairing.”

Yes, Nahki! You make Bermuda proud every time you walk on the field… and other times too, I’m sure!
