Tennis: Phillips Continues Competing In Spain
Daniel Phillips continued competing in the Sanchez-Casal Youth Cup Under 14 Tournament in Spain.
Playing in the Tennis Europe Level 1 Tournament Main Draw second round, Phillips took on Alejo Sanchez Quilez from Spain, where he was defeated in a three set battle.
Quilez won the first set 7-5, Phillips leveled the match at 1 – 1 when he won the second set 6-2, then Quilez won the third set 6-4.
Phillips then teamed up with Niklas Hoffmann from Germany in the Boy’s Doubles where they took on David Gheorghe and Cristian Marton from Belgium, losing in straight sets 6-2, 6-0.
