The Bermuda Industrial Union [BIU] hosted the 38th annual Labour Day Banquet last night [Aug 30] at the Fairmont Southampton.
The event started with a cocktail party followed by a dinner where the keynote speaker was Dr. Michael Charles, General Secretary of the Bermuda Union of Teachers, and the annual Labour Day celebrations are set to continue with the Labour Day march on Monday, September 2nd.
