BF&M Donates To Red Cross To Help Bahamas
BF&M has made a substantial donation to the Red Cross to help those affected by Hurricane Dorian in the Bahamas.
Dorian — a Category 5 hurricane described as one of the most intense storm on record to make landfall anywhere in the North Atlantic Ocean Basin — slammed the Bahamas leaving at least 5 people dead and causing catastrophic damage.
Group Chairman and CEO of BF&M Limited John Wight said, “Our thoughts are with all those affected by Hurricane Dorian in the Bahamas. This hurricane is unprecedented in its strength and the length of time over which it is wielding devastation.
“We stand ready to do our part in beginning the process of rebuilding, not just through our donation in support of the work of the Red Cross, but by promptly assessing and processing claims once these start to come in.”
