Hamilton Docks Reopen For Customers Today
The Hamilton Docks will reopen for customers today [Sept 20] at 8am.
A spokesperson said, “Please note that Stevedore Services Limited will open for customers at 8 AM on Friday.
“After a team from Stevedore Services Limited assessed and re-ordered the dock on Thursday following the passage of Hurricane Humberto, it was determined that the facilities were in good order. The docks will open as normal at 8:00 a.m. and will be able to receive containers back on the port at that time.”
Warren Jones, CEO of Polaris shared with stakeholders, ” I am pleased to report that the Hamilton Port has been re-set and is ready to receive the Bermuda Islander and regular business customers on Friday.”
“The MV Bermuda Islander is set to.dock in Bermuda on Friday afternoon. Discharge of the Islander will occur immediately upon arrival.”
