Report: Jonte Smith To Join Cheltenham Town
Bermudian footballer Jonte Smith is set to join Cheltenham Town on transfer deadline day, according to a report from Gloucestershire Live.
The report said, “Cheltenham Town are set to sign striker Jonte Smith on a deal until January. The 25-year-old, who appeared for the Robins on trial during pre-season, has passed a medical and agreed personal terms.
“He is a Bermuda international and was with League One Oxford United last term. Smith has also previously appeared in the Football League for Crawley Town and boasts an impressive scoring record in non-league football with the likes of Metropolitan Police and Lewes.
“Smith also played for Gloucester City, who were then lodging at Whaddon Road, in National League North during the 2015/16 campaign.”
