Zeiko Harris and his Appalachian State Men’s Soccer teammates recorded their fourth shutout this season with a 1-0 win over UNC Asheville.

Freshman Jacob Madden, junior Harris and the Appalachian State backline posted another solid 90 minutes for App State, conceding only five shots with one on goal.

Madden made one save on the night. On the other end of the field, App State took 15 shots with five on goal. The UNC Asheville goalkeeper, Jarrett Payne, was tested several times throughout the match.

Hernandez found Nick Rogers in the box who finished far post for his second goal, and game-winner, of the season. With the assist, Hernandez is now tied for a team-high two assists.
