BASA Begin Short Course Season With Meet
The Bermuda Amateur Swimming Association’s 2019/20 Short Course Season got underway at the BASA Pool with the 2019 Kattegat Limited Sharks Sprint Meet.
Somers Estwanik won the Girls 10 & Under 100 Short Course Meter Individual Medley touching the wall in a time of 1:34.90, finishing second was Katherine Wheddon clocking 1:38.83 and third Lauren Post was third with a time of 1:46.55.
The 11-12 Boys 50 Short Course Meter Breaststroke saw Carter Bernard touch the wall first in 41.25, Braxton Cooze was second in 46.52 and Matty Copeland finished third with a time of 50.30.
Imojen Judd won the 11-12 Girls 100 Short Course Meter Freestyle clocking a Personal Best time of 1:04.97, Marleigh Howes was second in 1:09.73 and third was Gabbriella Mitchell who was clocked at 1:15.18.
Myeisha Sharrieff clocked a Personal Best time of 1:02.36 on her way to winning the 13-14 Girls 100 Short Course Meter Freestyle, Bella Howes was second in 1:04.78 and third was Jaedyn Judd who clocked 1:05.91.
Finn Moseley won the Men’s 15 & Over 200 Short Course Meter Individual Medley clocking a time of 2:26.98.
