Bermuda Cycling Team To Compete In Cuba
The 2019 Caribbean Cycling Road Race Championships is slated to be held in Havana, Cuba, from October 31st to November 3rd.
Bermuda will be represented by five cyclists; three male and two female competitors.
In the Male Division Dominque Mahyo, Kaden Hopkins and Connor White will fly the flag, while Pan American Games competitor Caitlyn Conyers and Gabriella Arnold will battle it out in the Women’s Division.
The team will be managed by Peter Dunne and Darren Glasford, while Che’quan Richardson will serve as the team Mechanic.
In 2018 White won the Silver Medal in the Under 23 Time Trial, Conyers was second in the Road Race and Arnold won the Under 23 Women’s Road Race.
The 2019 edition of the Caribbean Cycling Championships is being organized by COPACI and the Cuban Cycling Federation as part of the celebration of Havana’s 500th Anniversary of its founding.
