Photos & Results: Bermuda Field Hockey

[Updated with photos] The Bermuda Field Hockey Federation recently held a triple header at the National Sports Center.

Canaries 2 – Griffins 4

The Griffins defeated the Canaries 4 – 2. The Griffins got two goals from Sydney Fisher and single strikes from Peter Loade and Zina Jones, while Nat Rood and Alex Godet scored a goal each for the Canaries.

Hawks 0 – Sandpipers 1

The Sandpipers edged the Hawks 1 – 0. The lone goal of the game came in the final period off the stick of Zina Jones.

Ravens 1 – Dragons 4

The Dragons defeated the Ravens 4 – 1 in the final game. The Ravens took the lead in the 16th minute when Connie Betts scored a field goal.

The Dragons leveled the match at 1 – 1 when Alan Gilbertson scored a field goal in the 32nd minute; two minutes later, the Dragons took the lead when Tim Davies scored a field goal. Davies scored from a penalty corner in the 50th minute to give the Dragons a 3 – 1 lead before Rupert Cudden-Large scored a field goal in the 54th minute to make the score 4 – 1.
