Golf: Pearman Wins BPGA Pre Qualifier Major
Dwayne Pearman was crowned the Bermuda Professional Golf Association’s Bermuda Champions Pre Qualifier Major Champion.
In rainy conditions, Pearman continued his steady play shooting an even par 70 to clinch the Championship by the same 5 stroke margin he started the day with and collected the $1,000.00 winners cheque.
Ocean View Professional Brian Morris also shot an Even par 70 to finish in 2nd place earning $700.00
Pearman’s Round included, 2 Birdies, 14 Pars and 2 Bogeys, while Morris had 3 Birdies 12 Pars and 3 Bogeys.
Turtle Hill Director of Golf Scott Roy finished 3rd collecting $400.00, while Dwayne Gibson fired an even par 70 to finish tied for 4th with Chris Grantier who shot 73, both collecting $100.00 cheques.
