Karen Smith Finishes 4th In Ironman Age Group
Bermuda’s Karen Smith competed in the 2019 Kona Ironman World Championships.
Smith finished in a time of 10:42:54, which saw her finish 4th in the Women’s 50 – 54 Age Group.
Following the race Smith, via social media, stated, “I am over the moon to finish 4th in my Division at the Ironman World Champs. Kona always delivers the toughest conditions but truly a championship course.”
Smith covered the Swim Course in a time of 1:44:00, she would then cover the Bike Course in a time of 5:37:19 and then she clocked a time of 3:47:27 on the Run Course.
