Stakeholders Urged To Engage With BTAConnect
The Bermuda Tourism Authority [BTA] is encouraging tourism stakeholders to engage with their online BTAConnect..
A spokesperson said, “Hospitality stakeholders are encouraged to engage with the Bermuda Tourism Authority [BTA] industry portal to access news and data, benefit from exclusive content, and manage events and listings on GoToBermuda.com.
“Launched a year ago, BTAConnect is a dynamic partner platform offering access to key industry information—including content from October’s annual Tourism Summit, the full version of Bermuda’s National Tourism Plan, plus quarterly and monthly visitor statistics. Importantly, the portal also allows users to manage their listings for business profiles or events on Bermuda’s tourism website gotobermuda.com. Vacation rental owners use BTAConnect to complete payment of their monthly fee.
“We welcome all our industry partners and stakeholders to sign up or log in to BTAConnect and leverage its useful reports and industry bulletins, as well as manage their own business and event listings to reach global audiences via GoToBermuda.com,” said Chief Information Officer Erin Smith.
- “Special resources and benefits allow BTAConnect users to:
- “Create and modify their web listings on GoToBermuda.com
- “Add events to the BTA Events Calendar
- “Post custom offers on GoToBermuda.com
- “View and reply to service requests and RFPs
- “Access exclusive reporting and content
- “View partner benefits, including media mentions, website listing views and clicks
- “Update contacts and contact details
“Tourism businesses without a BTAConnect login should email btaconnect@bermudatourism.com with their name and business/agency description. Once access is granted, users will receive a welcome email with login instructions to access the portal. Registered stakeholders can log in here.
“The BTA hosts digital workshops throughout the year, offering tips for access and best practices on digital platforms, including BTAConnect; the next one will be in January. Top BTAConnect users recognised at October’s Bermuda Tourism Summit included: [Hotel] James Birch, Fairmont Southampton; [Attraction] Sundee Faulkner, Dolphin Quest; [Vacation Rental] Valerio Ausenda.”
