STEP Journal Supplement, Bermuda Conference
The Bermuda’s Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners [STEP] has released its 2019/20 journal supplement entitled ‘Trust Bermuda’ and will hold a conference on December 5 at the Bermuda Underwater Exploration Institute entitled ‘Trust in the Future: Keeping Step with Changes.’
A spokesperson said, “Bermuda’s Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners’2019/20 journal supplement ‘Trust Bermuda’ looks at how geopolitical risk is impacting upon private clients’ and family offices’ choice of jurisdictions for trusts and asset holding structures; the latest legislative and regulatory framework developments; a snapshot of the island’s business environments in numbers; why business families in particular are attracted to Bermuda; and how millennials interpret philanthropy.
“Also included is a case study, inspired by Greek mythology, on the management of family wealth; and, looking to the future, an interview on how a marine conservation charity is inspiring research programmes.
