Milton Raposo’s ‘Fabric’ To Screen On Dec 28
Two additional screenings of the documentary ‘Fabric’ by Milton Raposo – which highlights the history of the Portuguese in Bermuda – will take place on Saturday, December 28 at the Bermuda Underwater Exploration Institute’s Tradewinds Auditorium at 2.00pm and 4.30pm.
An online promo said, “Since 1849, the Portuguese have been coming to Bermuda, leaving behind their homes, families and all that they know. They bring their culture and heritage and have women themselves into Bermudian society. This is their story.
“The Portuguese-Bermudian story has never been more detailed or vibrant than on this film. FABRIC: Portuguese History in Bermuda is a down-through-the-ages history documentary film that chronicles the epic story of the thousands of people that would transform the social, economic and cultural landscape of Bermuda.
“Two additional screenings have been added after two sold out screenings in November.
