Osagi Bascome & Teammate Visit Primary School
Bermudian footballer Osagi Bascome and his Darlington FC teammate Omar Holness recently visited St Joseph’s Primary School in Billingham, UK and talked about their lives as footballers.
“The Year 5 and Year 6 children enjoyed some football skills activities and then took part in a Q&A session. The players spoke about their commitment to health and fitness, and the need to be determined to succeed and resilient when things are tough,” Darlington FC said.
“They also spoke about their experiences playing all over the world and stories about their favourite goal. The afternoon was thoroughly enjoyed by all of the children and staff with the final question, from a Y6 boy, being ‘When are you coming back.”
