Repaving Of North Street Rescheduled
The City of Hamilton is advising the public that the scheduled repaving on North Street has been rescheduled due to the inclement weather forecast for this weekend, with the repaving now to begin on February 8.
A spokesperson said, “The City of Hamilton advises that the scheduled repaving on North Street, between Dutton Avenue and Angle Street has been delayed due to the inclement weather that has been forecast for this weekend. Two-day weekend road closures in the affected area, due to begin this weekend, have been delayed until next Saturday, February 8th, with closures expected for three consecutive weekends.
“The work to be carried out is weather dependent and the City apologizes for any inconvenience caused by these necessary upgrades.
“Diversion signs and barriers will be in place next weekend and the motoring public is asked to use alternate routes and exercise caution in the affected areas.”
