Tennis: MTM Championships Gets Underway
The Manders Tennis Management Championships got underway in cool conditions at the Fairmont Tennis Courts.
A total of eight matches were completed, with all but one finishing in straight sets.
The B Singles Championship Division match between Jazhuena Douglas-Bradshaw and Tyler Trott went three sets with Douglas-Bradshaw coming from behind to win 3-6, 6-4, 6-4.
In the Open Singles Championship Division Davis Cup player Tariq Simons defeated Jon Brunson 6-0, 6-0, while Cooper McGuire defeated Morgan Lightbourne 6-3, 6-4 in the B Singles Championship Division.
