Video: 3D Projection Show At City Hall For NYE
The Gombeys, Sir George Somers, a fire, the Birdcage, the Town Crier and more were among the Bermuda themes showcased during the City of Hamilton New Year’s Eve celebration on the front lawn of City Hall, with the unique 3D projection show celebrating the history and culture of Bermuda.
The show — which was very well received — was produced by PaintScaping, a Los Angeles-based company which has produced 3D mapping shows across the United States and around the world, and counts MGM Resorts, Ritz-Carlton, Sony Pictures, Westin Hotels, and Cirque du Soleil as among their clients.
The technology display was part of the celebration hosted by the Corporation of Hamilton, with the evening also including local entertainment, a stilt walker, music, free refreshments, a dance cam, Twitter resolution wall and much more.
