Barkers Hill Footbridge To Undergo Repairs
The Barkers Hill Footbridge will be closed to the public beginning on Monday, March 16 to allow for the replacement of timber planking, with re-opening scheduled for March 18.
A government spokesperson said, “The Ministry of Public Works advises that the Barkers Hill Footbridge, located adjacent to the Ocean View Golf Course, will be closed to the public as of Monday, March 16.
“The closure will allow for the replacement of timber planking and, weather permitting, should be reopened by Wednesday, March 18.
“The Ministry apologises for any inconvenience and urges the public’s cooperation as we make the necessary repairs.”
