Photos: BHB Sets Up Tent For Covid-19 Testing
As part of their preparations for possible Covid-19 cases, the Bermuda Hospitals Board [BHB] has set up a tent in order to test processes.
“The tent was set up to test our processes for separation of patients presenting with possible Covid-19. It hasn’t had to be used for actual patients yet,” a BHB spokesperson explained.
The Bermuda Hospitals Board has also announced both the suspension of non-urgent, elective surgery and the introduction of visitor restrictions to all BHB facilities.

PMSL…like that’s going to protect anyone!

Dr. Boston Whaler. Thank you for your input but in fact, yes in fact it will protect people. It eliminates the need for those that feel they might have Covid-19 or even the flu, from going into the hospital where they might touch and infect surfaces and other patients. Some countries are using drive up testing which could also work but this tent would address those that might arrive on their moped, ambulance, or even a taxi. Would you prefer they do nothing. Its easy to be an armchair quarterback! If you are going to complain about what others are trying to do to help with what they have, at least suggest something! Or are you concerned that others might be just as critical of you!
Stop defending ignorance!! What good is that small tent if 25 people show up?! The solution to the problem is to remove the government we have and let the governor take over. Because having parades outside of the hospital and large social gatherings outside the hospital is the stupidest thing I’ve ever seen. The problem is to many of the politicians friends are defending their ignorance and stupidity. These people don’t care about us, remember it’s “two Bermuda’s”!!!
I love the strategically placed “Do not enter” sign!
