Interruption In Bus Service On Wednesday

Due to “meetings with DPT staff to address concerns, update, and provide information on matters relating to Covid-19,” there will be a brief interruption in bus service tomorrow [March 18]  from 10:30 am – 1:00 pm.

A government spokesperson said, “The Department of Public Transportation [DPT] is advising of a brief interruption in bus service on Wednesday, 18 March [Tomorrow] from 10:30 am – 1:00 pm.

“The service interruption will facilitate meetings with DPT staff to address concerns, update, and provide information on matters relating to Covid-19.

“The ultimate goal is to ensure all staff are prepared and able to confidently serve the public in any eventuality.

“The DPT apologise in advance for any inconvenience to the travelling public.”

      They have to have time to gorge on the free food too. That’s the only way they ever get people to attend.

      With pay I am sure. Why can they not communicate through a representative or better yet email?

        Makes too much sense. It’s obviously better to interrupt service for 3 hours rather than have a rep get the info and relay it via email.
