MS Amlin Named Title Sponsor Of WTS Bermuda
MS Amlin has been named the title sponsor for Bermuda’s World Triathlon Series [WTS] for the third consecutive year.
A spokesperson said, “MS Amlin is proud to be announced as the title sponsor for Bermuda’s World Triathlon Series [WTS] for the third consecutive year.
“The April 18, 2020 international triathlon is growing and expanding its community reach with new related events and community partners to create a four-day sporting extravaganza.
“For the first time, Bermuda will also host the ITU Paratriathlon World Cup on April 19 in an exciting second day of racing.
“A 5K Family Fun Run & Walk on April 16 has also been added to the weekend schedule, offering more opportunities for involvement by the local community, regardless of age or fitness level.
“Through school outreach, organisers are also looking to attract the largest field yet in the free RenaissanceRe Kids Duathlon on April 17 and the WTS Bermuda Volunteer Committee is working to engage more people from the wider island community.”
MS Amlin’s Reinsurance CEO Chris Beazley said, “We’re delighted to be supporting this wonderful event for the third year. We have active staff who are involved in a variety of sports and community based activities and it is important to us as an organization to promote healthy lifestyles.
“We particularly appreciate that the local community becomes so involved in the four days of the MS Amlin World Triathlon Bermuda and we are looking forward to 2020 being the best event yet.”
The spokesperson said, “Other major sponsors continuing to support the event include: Bermuda Tourism Authority [BTA], Hamilton Princess Hotel & Beach Club, BF&M, NTT, and the City of Hamilton, with PwC continuing as Volunteer Sponsor.
“A new event partner in 2020 is Carey Olsen Bermuda, which joins as an official partner. The law firm’s Managing Partner Michael Hanson sees the sponsorship as a healthy engagement for its staff.”
